My responsibilities include but not limited to,
○ Design and development of knitted accessories including but not limited to hats, gloves, and scarves for 100+skews.
○ Research and initial sourcing of the new yarn, fabric, finishing, embellishments.
○ Create colour ways on CAD program and collaborate with CAD department and studios for artworks.
○ Execution of product line according to the costing, brand strategy, and production time line.
○ Key-holder the tech packs with sketch, technical drawings, measurements, colour information for each style.
○ Reviewing and correcting the prototype samples to stock samples, and lab dips in all fibres.
○ Presenting the line to managers, all sales representatives, and exclusive partners.
○ Traveling domestically and internationally to attend yarn expos, factories, and partnering vendors.
○ Styling the main shots of products for the look book and website photo shoots.
Skill Sets
○ Design and manage styles throughout the product cycle from prototype to stock.
○ Research and initial sourcing new trends, yarns and finishing and re-translate fitting into the brand identity.
○ Create tech pack with sketches and essential directions for execution the ideas.
○ Correct colour lap dips. Communicate with partnering mills and factories.
○ Create seasonal vision and concept, including seasonal colour palette, material library, and mood boards.
○ Create original Art piece in multi-media.
○ Art direct collaborative photo shootings.
○ Attend trend-forecasting companies’ presentations and trade shows, and filter through the brand’s identity and concepts.
